Job Responsibilities

Perform HCC record abstraction and coding with high accuracy.

Validate and identify HCC mapped diagnoses that drive revenue.

Ensure compliance with official coding guidelines, CMS, and client-specific rules.

Maintain coding accuracy of 95% or higher with consistent productivity.

Conduct medical record validation for correct coding procedures.

Identify and analyze documentation and coding trends.
-
Abide by HIPAA and patient confidentiality standards.
Desired Skills & Qualifications

AAPC / AHIMA certification (mandatory).

Strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.

Proficiency in clinical coding practices with attention to detail.

Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication.

Strong organization, time management, and problem-solving abilities.

Clinical background preferred but not mandatory.
