Job description
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Preparation of Process flow, Piping & Instrumentation diagram, Equipment layouts, HVAC, water system layouts and approvals from Manufacturing, QA & EHS.
- Preparation of Isometric Drawings.
- Preparation of URS, Data Sheet (FRS), FAT,SAT, Qualifications (DQ, IQ & OQ) for any new equipment and all other document related activities(pharma and water system validations).
- Preparation of Layouts and Site master plan for new proposals and submitting to Directories of factories for approvals.
- Ensuring work permits raised for Hot work, work at height, vessel entry, general work permits etc.
- In-addition of Unit-3, taking care of all above activities at Unit-2,Unit-1 & R&D on need basis. Experience in QMS caliber for initiation, follow up and closing of change controls.
- Handling SAP activities, Vendor follow-up for receiver calibration and thickness testing.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Basic & Detail engineering of all new molecules & existing molecules with capacity enhancement.
- Technical Bid analysis of vendors for like-to-like comparison.
- Understanding the User requirement specification and coordination with vendors.
- PID & Layout preparation
- Capex proposals
- Handling mass balance & energy balance.
- Equipment sizing of all projects.
- Equipment volume mapping and capacity sheet workings.
- Debottlenecking of existing process flow to improve capacity utilization.
- Line balancing of existing and proposed capacity enhancements.
- Review with CFT members including EHS team and taking approvals on project documents.
- Site project works review & verification to do as per approved PIDs & layouts.
- Project scheduling and timely monitoring.
- Commissioning the system and smooth hand-overing to USER team for any new technology projects.
- Implementation of new technology incoordination & support with vendor team.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Transfer of process from Lab scale to commercial scale.
- Preparation of (P&IDs) for process systems, perform engineering calculations for mass transfer, heat transfer and fluid flow to specify process stream conditions and construct process flow diagrams (PFDs).
- Continue to enhance process capability and improve product quality, Yield using statistical analysis (Trend analysis) and implementation of improved control strategies. Cost effective & energy saving system implementation, time cycle reduction for existing process and new process.
- To monitor and analyze plant process, equipment performance and production output to support process optimization, improvement in manufacturing efficiency and reduction in cost.
- Provide chemical engineering expertise and input on safety, design, scale-up, equipment selection, and optimization.
- Heat Load Calculation, Line Sizing & Pressure Drop Calculation.
- Providing technical support for troubleshooting activities for Solvent recovery and manufacturing plants / process.
- Identifying area for improvement in process / plant to increase productivity & output.
