Role Description
As an Assistant Manager for Production (Operations), you will be responsible for overseeing the daily manufacturing activities within our production department. This role requires a strong technical understanding of pharmaceutical processes, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to manage operational workflows efficiently. You will ensure that our production standards meet the highest quality requirements while maintaining safety and compliance protocols.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will manage production schedules, supervise shop-floor activities, and ensure that all manufacturing processes strictly adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). You will be tasked with optimizing production efficiency, troubleshooting operational issues, and mentoring junior team members. A significant part of your role will involve managing the production of critical injectables, ensuring that the final output meets all clinical and regulatory specifications.
Required Qualifications and Expertise
To be considered for this position, candidates must possess the following:
Academic Background: A degree in B.Pharmacy, M.Pharmacy, B.Sc, or M.Sc.
Professional Experience: A minimum of 7 to 9 years of relevant experience in a pharmaceutical production environment.
Technical Skills: Extensive hands-on knowledge of injectable manufacturing processes.
Specialized Experience: Previous experience in the production and management of specific products such as Citicoline, Diclofenac Injection, and N-Acetyl Cysteine is highly preferred.
Management Skills: Demonstrated leadership capabilities with the ability to manage teams and handle complex production workflows effectively.
