Role Responsibilities
As an Apprentice or Officer in our Microbiology department, you will play a vital role in the routine and non-routine testing operations. Your core responsibilities will include:
* Environmental Monitoring: Performing routine environmental monitoring to ensure the cleanliness and compliance of our manufacturing areas, in line with established standard operating procedures.
* Media Preparation: Managing the precise preparation and sterilization of culture media required for various microbiological tests.
* Microbial Limit Testing (MLT): Executing microbial limit tests on finished products and raw materials to ensure product quality and safety.
* Documentation and Compliance: Maintaining accurate, transparent, and timely records of all laboratory activities in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and internal quality protocols.
* Non-Routine Analysis: Assisting in investigations and non-routine microbiological analysis as required by the department head.
* Process Adherence: Strictly following safety and quality guidelines to prevent contamination and ensure the consistency of non-sterile formulations.
Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following educational and professional requirements:
* Educational Qualification: You must hold an M.Sc. degree in Microbiology from a recognized institution.
* Academic Performance: For candidates with less than five years of experience, a minimum of 60 percent marks in your qualifying examination is mandatory.
* Experience: We are accepting applications from freshers as well as experienced professionals with up to 4 years of experience in the microbiology department of a pharmaceutical company.
* Technical Proficiency: Candidates with prior experience must have documented exposure to USFDA and MHRA regulatory environments, as adherence to these international standards is critical to our operations.
* Professional Background: All applicants must be able to provide all previous relieving and experience letters upon request.
