Job Summary

The Emmes Group, a globally recognized Clinical Research Organization (CRO), is seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Global Partnering Associate to join our team in Bengaluru, India. In this role, you will be instrumental in the end-to-end management of GxP vendors, ensuring that our partnerships remain compliant, efficient, and aligned with international clinical research standards. Role Overview

The Global Partnering Associate holds a strategic position responsible for the qualification, management, and ongoing compliance of GxP vendors across our global clinical trial portfolio. Your work will directly impact patient safety, the integrity of our regulatory submissions, and the adherence to critical study timelines. You will act as a key liaison between internal stakeholders, including project management and quality assurance teams, and our external partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Vendor Lifecycle Management: Support the identification, selection, and onboarding process for GxP vendors, ensuring all partners meet organizational standards.
  • Database Oversight: Maintain and regularly update the internal approved vendor database to ensure data accuracy.
  • Contract Coordination: Facilitate the execution of Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) and coordinate closely with the legal and contracts teams.
  • Compliance and Quality Assurance: Collaborate with the Quality Assurance (QA) department to conduct vendor audits and ensure strict adherence to global regulations (including GDPR, the UK Bribery Act, and relevant GxP guidelines).
  • RFP and Project Support: Participate in Request for Proposal (RFP) processes and provide support for post-award study activities.
  • Relationship Management: Act as a point of contact for vendor-related escalations, working alongside Project Managers to resolve issues promptly.
  • Governance and Reporting: Lead governance meetings, document and track action items, and drive internal feedback surveys to promote continuous process improvements.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, or a related field (B.Pharm, BSc) is mandatory. An M.Pharm or MBA is highly preferred.
  • Experience: A minimum of 4 years of professional experience in vendor management, clinical operations, or project management within a CRO, pharmaceutical, or biotechnology setting.
  • Certification: A PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is considered an added advantage.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (specifically Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams).
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
    • Comprehensive knowledge of GxP compliance and vendor qualification protocols.
    • Solid understanding of clinical trial workflows and CRO operational models.
  • Soft Skills: Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across global teams.

Salary and Location

  • Compensation: The estimated salary range for this position is ₹8 LPA – ₹14 LPA, commensurate with experience and industry standards for CROs in India.
  • Location: This role is based in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, with hybrid/remote flexibility available in accordance with company policy.
