Responsibilities

As an Executive in our Analytical Sciences team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and integrity of our biologics pipeline. Your core responsibilities will include:

• Method Development & Validation: Develop and validate robust physicochemical analytical methods essential for the characterization of biologics, with a specific focus on monoclonal antibodies (mAbs).
• Analytical Testing: Perform batch release testing and routine analytical assessments to maintain regulatory standards.
• Protein Characterization: Conduct thorough analyses to determine the purity, identity, and structural integrity of protein products.
• Instrumentation Proficiency: Utilize and maintain advanced analytical equipment, including:
  • Chromatographic techniques (SEC-HPLC, RP-HPLC, CEX, and NP-HPLC for Glycan analysis).
  • Electrophoresis platforms (Capillary Electrophoresis/Maurice).
  • Biophysical tools (DLS, DSC, CD spectroscopy, and SEC-MALS).
• Project Support: Contribute to ongoing biosimilar development projects by working closely with cross-functional teams in R&D and manufacturing to ensure seamless project execution.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Education: A Master’s degree (M.Sc.) in Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or a related Life Sciences discipline.
• Experience: 1–2 years of hands-on experience in the biologics or biosimilars analytical domain.
• Technical Expertise:
  • Strong fundamental knowledge of protein chemistry and analytical sciences.
  • Demonstrated experience in chromatography and spectroscopy techniques.
  • Familiarity with the higher-order structure analysis of proteins.
  • Prior exposure to Mass Spectrometry is highly preferred.
• Analytical Skills: Proficiency in data analysis software such as GraphPad or JMP.
• Soft Skills: Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a fast-paced, cross-functional team environment.
