Job Summary

Pelltech Healthcare is currently seeking motivated and detail-oriented B.Pharm and M.Pharm graduates to join our team as a Trainee – Quality Assurance in Palghar, Maharashtra. This full-time, on-site role is designed for freshers looking to build a career in the pharmaceutical industry. You will gain hands-on experience in manufacturing quality systems, regulatory compliance, and essential QA documentation, providing a robust foundation for a long-term career in Quality Assurance, Regulatory Affairs, or Compliance.


Responsibilities

As a Quality Assurance Trainee, you will be an integral part of maintaining the high standards of our manufacturing operations. Your primary responsibilities will include:

Manufacturing & In-Process Quality Assurance (IPQA)

  • Ensure strict adherence to cGMP (current Good Manufacturing Practice) guidelines across all manufacturing and packaging areas.
  • Conduct IPQA checks during dispensing, manufacturing, and packaging stages.
  • Provide line clearance and monitor production processes to ensure consistent quality.
  • Monitor critical environmental parameters, including temperature, humidity, and room pressure.

Documentation & Compliance

  • Review Batch Manufacturing Records (BMR) and Batch Packaging Records (BPR) to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Maintain compliance through proper online documentation practices.
  • Assist in the preparation and review of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Manage the lifecycle of QMS (Quality Management System) documentation, including issuance, retrieval, and secure archival.

Sampling, Validation & Calibration

  • Perform systematic sampling of in-process and finished pharmaceutical products.
  • Support process validation activities and continuous process verification efforts.
  • Handle the withdrawal of control and stability samples.
  • Verify equipment qualification, calibration status, and preventive maintenance records.

Quality Systems & Audit Support

  • Assist in managing deviations, change controls, market complaints, and product recall procedures.
  • Contribute to the preparation of the Annual Product Quality Review (APQR).
  • Maintain vendor files and assist in organizing product dossiers.
  • Monitor plant-wide training activities and support the preparation of self-inspection plans and quality manuals for internal and external audits.

Requirements

We are looking for candidates who possess a strong academic background and a passion for pharmaceutical quality.

  • Education: B.Pharm or M.Pharm degree (Specialization in Pharmaceutics or Quality Assurance is highly preferred).
  • Experience: This is an entry-level position; freshers are encouraged to apply.
  • Knowledge Base:
    • A solid understanding of cGMP guidelines and regulatory requirements.
    • Familiarity with pharmaceutical manufacturing processes.
    • Basic proficiency in QA documentation and report writing.
  • Skills: Strong attention to detail, analytical mindset, and the ability to work effectively in a team-based manufacturing environment.
