About the Role
We are looking for passionate individuals to join our specialized API R&D teams. Selected candidates will play a pivotal role in chemical synthesis, analytical development, and process optimization. You will work within one of our four key focus areas:
- API Process Synthesis
- API Process Analytical
- Continuous Process Technology Transfer
- Particle Size Development Lab
Responsibilities
As a member of the Process Chemistry Excellence team, your responsibilities will include:
- Process Development: Executing and optimizing chemical synthesis routes, scaling processes from laboratory trials to full-scale commercial production.
- Operational Excellence: Supporting process troubleshooting, identifying opportunities for cost reduction, and enhancing chemical yields.
- Analytical Rigor: Performing advanced analytical techniques—including HPLC, UPLC, GC, UV, and titration—while managing data reviews and validating new analytical methods.
- Technology & Compliance: Managing continuous manufacturing processes, overseeing technology transfers, and conducting particle size analysis using techniques such as laser diffraction and microscopy.
- Documentation: Preparing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), technical reports, and comprehensive documentation to ensure full regulatory compliance.
- Collaboration: Working effectively with cross-functional teams, including R&D, chemical engineering, and manufacturing departments, to ensure project success.
Requirements
To be considered for these roles, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Educational Qualifications: M.Sc (Chemistry), Ph.D (Chemistry), M.Pharm (Chemistry), M.Tech (Chemical), or B.E/B.Tech (Chemical Engineering).
- Professional Experience: 2 to 15 years of relevant experience in API R&D or related pharmaceutical manufacturing processes.
- Skill Set: Proven expertise in chemical synthesis, analytical instrumentation, or process engineering, paired with a strong understanding of regulatory requirements.
