Role and Responsibilities
As a Quality Control (QC) Officer or Senior Officer, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our products consistently meet regulatory and internal quality specifications. Your primary focus will be on analytical testing and data integrity within the QC department.
Key responsibilities will include:
* Performing routine analysis of raw materials, intermediates, and finished API products using advanced analytical instrumentation.
* Operating and troubleshooting High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) and Gas Chromatography (GC) systems to ensure accurate results.
* Ensuring all testing procedures strictly follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP).
* Maintaining detailed and accurate documentation of all laboratory testing, data, and findings.
* Assisting in the calibration and maintenance of laboratory equipment to ensure optimal performance.
* Supporting the Quality Control team in identifying and resolving any analytical discrepancies or non-conformity issues.
* Contributing to the continuous improvement of laboratory efficiency and safety protocols.
Candidate Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must possess a strong foundation in chemistry and a practical understanding of analytical laboratory operations. We are seeking candidates who are proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently as well as within a team.
Educational Qualifications:
* Candidates should hold a degree in B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Chemistry, or a B. Pharma degree from a recognized institution.
Experience:
* We are looking for professionals with 2 to 4 years of hands-on experience in a Quality Control department, preferably within an API or pharmaceutical manufacturing setting.
* Proven technical proficiency in handling HPLC and GC instrumentation is essential. Candidates who can demonstrate strong technical knowledge and problem-solving skills in these areas will be given preference.
