Role and Responsibilities
As a member of the Production OSD department, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our pharmaceutical products are manufactured in compliance with safety, quality, and efficiency standards. Your primary responsibilities will include:
* Overseeing daily production operations within the Solid Oral Dosage (OSD) department.
* Operating, monitoring, and maintaining production machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
* Strictly adhering to Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and internal Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
* Maintaining accurate batch production records and ensuring all documentation is completed in a timely and compliant manner.
* Troubleshooting production-related issues and coordinating with cross-functional teams to minimize downtime.
* Ensuring the safety of the workspace by following all workplace health and safety guidelines.
* Contributing to process improvements and productivity initiatives to support the organization’s manufacturing targets.
Qualifications and Skills
To be successful in this role, you must meet the following criteria:
* Educational Qualification: A degree or diploma in Pharmacy (B. Pharm/M. Pharm), Science (B.Sc.), or Engineering (B. Tech).
* Experience: We are looking for professionals with 2 to 8 years of hands-on experience in pharmaceutical formulation, specifically within an OSD environment.
* Technical Knowledge: Proficiency in handling granulation, compression, coating, and packing machinery.
* Regulatory Knowledge: Strong understanding of GMP, GLP, and regulatory requirements relevant to pharmaceutical production.
* Communication Skills: Ability to work effectively within a team, follow detailed instructions, and document processes accurately in English.
* Flexibility: Ability to work in shifts as required by the production schedule.
