Job Responsibilities
Procurement & Sourcing

Source Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs) from qualified suppliers, focusing on the US Market.

Maintain and build relationships with approved vendors while identifying new sourcing opportunities.

Ensure vendor compliance with GMP, USFDA, and EU-GMP guidelines.
Negotiation & Cost Management

Negotiate contracts, pricing, and payment terms to optimize costs.

Collaborate with Finance and Production teams to ensure cost-effective purchasing decisions.
Inventory & Planning

Forecast API requirements based on production plans.

Monitor stock levels and coordinate with Production and Warehouse for timely deliveries.
Compliance & Documentation

Ensure all procurement activities adhere to regulatory and quality standards.

Maintain comprehensive documentation for audits, including COAs, DMFs, and vendor certifications.
Market Intelligence

Track market trends, supply-demand shifts, and global pricing dynamics.

Required Skills & Qualifications
Education:

B.Pharm / B.Sc / M.Sc / MBA (preferred specialization: Supply Chain or Pharma Management)
Experience:

2–8 years in pharmaceutical API procurement or supply chain management
Knowledge:

Strong understanding of APIs, pharma regulations, and regulatory bodies (USFDA, EDQM, WHO)
