Experience: 5 – 14 years

Qualification: M.Sc in Organic Chemistry

Work Location: Hyderabad

 Role Description & Responsibilities

This role is ideal for experienced peptide chemists with strong expertise in SPPS/LPPS, scale-up, and process optimization.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform Solid Phase Peptide Synthesis (SPPS) & Liquid Phase Peptide Synthesis (LPPS).

• Develop, optimize, and scale up peptide synthesis processes.

• Troubleshoot synthesis and purification challenges.

• Support GMP manufacturing for peptide APIs/intermediates.

• Work with automated synthesizers and microwave peptide synthesizers.

• Execute Fmoc/Boc chemistry, difficult sequences, modifications, and conjugations.

• Prepare technical documentation, batch records, and support tech transfer.

• Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines (USFDA/EMEA).

• Mentor junior chemists and contribute to R&D innovation.

 Skills & Expertise Required

Hands-on peptide synthesis (SPPS, LPPS)
Experience in scale-up and process troubleshooting
Strong understanding of Fmoc/Boc chemistry
Knowledge of purifications (HPLC, RP-HPLC, chromatography)
Familiarity with GMP, regulatory expectations
Strong documentation and analytical skills
Ability to innovate, solve problems, and lead projects
