Job Summary
As a Shift Chemist or Documentation Team Member, you will be responsible for executing day-to-day API production activities, ensuring adherence to cGMP standards, and maintaining accurate documentation. This role requires a strong understanding of chemical processes, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. This is a permanent, shift-based position with excellent opportunities for career advancement.
Responsibilities
- Execute API production activities according to Batch Manufacturing Records (BMRs).
- Perform in-process quality checks and document results in compliance with cGMP guidelines.
- Operate and maintain reactors, centrifuges, dryers, and other API plant equipment.
- Maintain accurate and complete batch records, logbooks, and electronic documentation.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and maintain a zero-deviation environment.
- Contribute to process improvement and yield enhancement initiatives.
- Participate in troubleshooting and problem-solving activities related to production processes.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal procedures.
Requirements
- Education: B.Sc / M.Sc in Chemistry or Diploma / B.Tech in Chemical Engineering.
- Experience: 0-3 years of hands-on experience in API / Bulk Drugs / Intermediate manufacturing (Freshers are encouraged to apply).
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of cGMP, GLP, and documentation practices.
- Skills: Ability to operate and troubleshoot chemical processing equipment, strong attention to detail, excellent documentation skills, and effective communication skills.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work in 24×7 rotational shifts is mandatory.
- Availability: Immediate joiners are preferred.
