Job Description:
As a Legal Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the company’s compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. You will be responsible for providing legal support to various departments within the organization, drafting and reviewing contracts, conducting legal research, and managing legal documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft, review, and manage a wide range of contracts and legal documents.
- Conduct thorough legal research and provide advisory support to internal stakeholders.
- Track ongoing legal cases and coordinate effectively with external legal counsel.
- Maintain accurate and organized legal records and documentation.
- Ensure the company’s compliance with all relevant statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Handle additional legal and secretarial tasks as assigned by the management.
Eligibility & Required Skills:
- LLB degree from a recognized university is mandatory.
- 1-2 years of relevant experience in a corporate legal department is preferred. Fresh graduates with exceptional academic records and strong drafting skills are also encouraged to apply.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Sound knowledge of contract law, compliance regulations, and corporate laws.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced pharmaceutical environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in using legal research databases and software.
