Job Description:

We are seeking skilled and dedicated individuals to join our client’s Plant Engineering & Projects team. As a member of this team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the pharmaceutical manufacturing facility. Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of tasks related to the maintenance, troubleshooting, and improvement of plant equipment and systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on utility equipment, including HVAC systems, boilers, compressors, and chillers.
  • Conduct preventive and breakdown maintenance on plant machinery to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance.
  • Manage and maintain water systems, including RO, WFI, purified water, and pure steam generation and distribution.
  • Execute electrical maintenance tasks, including panel wiring, troubleshooting electrical faults, and ensuring the safe and reliable operation of electrical systems.
  • Calibrate and maintain instrumentation equipment to ensure accurate measurements and process control.
  • Adhere to cGMP guidelines and safety standards in all activities.
  • Collaborate effectively with production, quality, and other relevant teams to support project execution and ensure seamless operations.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve equipment malfunctions, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability, efficiency, and safety.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance.

Qualifications & Experience Required:

  • Education: ITI / Diploma / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE)
  • Experience: 2–8 years of relevant experience in pharmaceutical plant maintenance.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Hands-on experience in Utility, Fitter, Electrician, Water Systems, or Instrumentation.
    • Strong understanding of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes and equipment.
    • Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving mechanical and electrical issues.
    • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
    • Knowledge of cGMP guidelines and regulatory requirements in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
    • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
    • Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
