Job Responsibilities:

As a Statistical Programmer I, you will work under the guidance of experienced programmers and biostatisticians, contributing to the successful execution of clinical trials. Your responsibilities will include:

  • CDISC Dataset Creation: Assist in the design, development, and validation of derived and CDISC-compliant datasets (SDTM, ADaM) in accordance with industry standards.
  • Table, Listing, and Figure (TLF) Generation: Support the generation of statistical outputs, including tables, listings, and figures for clinical study reports, regulatory submissions, and other deliverables.
  • SAS Programming: Learn and apply SAS programming techniques to create efficient and accurate statistical workflows, including data manipulation, analysis, and reporting.
  • Documentation Review: Review AI-assisted statistical documentation to ensure accuracy, clarity, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with global clinical programming and biostatistics teams, contributing to a positive and productive work environment.
  • Project Management: Manage assigned timelines and deliverables under supervision, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Continuous Learning: Actively participate in training programs and stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies.

Required Qualifications:

  • Education:

    • Required: Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Mathematics or Statistics with a strong focus on statistical content.
    • Required: Master of Science (MSc) in Statistics or Mathematics.
    • Preferred: Exposure to clinical research or healthcare-related projects.
  • Skills:

    • Good understanding of fundamental statistical concepts.
    • Exposure to any programming language (SAS preferred, but not required).
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Windows operating system.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Effective organizational and time management skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Experience Required:

  • No prior pharmaceutical or CRO experience is required.
