Job Description:
As a Data Analyst I within the Field Effectiveness & Alignment team, you will play a crucial role in driving data-driven decisions to enhance field performance and optimize resource allocation. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including commercial, IT, analytics, and operations, to provide valuable insights and support strategic initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and implement territory alignment and structuring based on in-depth performance analytics.
- Analyze IQVIA sales, Rx trends, and call activity datasets to identify opportunities for improved field engagement.
- Develop predictive models, conduct statistical analysis, and perform data mining to uncover actionable trends and patterns.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the execution of strategic initiatives and commercial plans.
- Drive innovation through automation, development of digital dashboards, and application of AI/ML-based insights.
- Build and present compelling executive dashboards, reports, and data insights for leadership review.
- Maintain and manage territory management platforms, including JTD tools and Veeva CRM.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of data-driven strategies to optimize field force effectiveness.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in commercial analytics and data science.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Business Analytics, Operations Research, Data Science, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in commercial analytics, biopharma analytics, or field effectiveness.
- Hands-on experience with:
- SQL, Python, Excel (Advanced + VBA), Tableau, Power BI
- Field alignment tools such as JTD and Veeva CRM
- Working with IQVIA datasets and Rx analytics
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and business acumen.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Passion for data and a desire to make a real-world impact.
