Department: Production Formulations – Injectables / Vaccines
Location: Shamirpet, Hyderabad (Telangana)
Experience Required: 2 to 8 years
Key Responsibilities:
Depending on the specific role and area of expertise, responsibilities may include:
Blending (Formulation):
- Managing shift planning and execution of formulation activities.
- Operating and maintaining autoclaves, blending vessels, and other relevant equipment.
- Handling CIP (Clean-in-Place) & SIP (Sterilize-in-Place) skids according to cGMP (current Good Manufacturing Practice) guidelines.
- Ensuring adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols.
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation of all formulation activities.
Filling (Aseptic):
- Managing shift schedules for vial filling operations.
- Operating vial washing machines, depyrogenation tunnels, and automatic filling & capping lines.
- Ensuring online documentation and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Maintaining aseptic conditions and preventing contamination during filling operations.
- Troubleshooting equipment malfunctions and coordinating maintenance activities.
Packing & Labelling:
- Operating vial labelling machines with vision inspection and VVM (Vaccine Vial Monitor) dot application.
- Handling batch coding using Videojet/Control Print printers.
- Managing Track & Trace serialization processes.
- Monitoring cold chain conditions (cold rooms & deep freezers) to ensure product integrity.
- Ensuring accurate and compliant packaging and labelling of finished products.
Qualifications and Eligibility Criteria:
- Education:
- M.Sc (Microbiology/Biotechnology/Life Sciences)
- B.Pharmacy
- Diploma / B.Sc / ITI
- Experience: 2–8 years of relevant experience in sterile injectables or vaccine manufacturing.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in operating and maintaining pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment.
- Strong understanding of cGMP guidelines and regulatory requirements.
- Knowledge of aseptic techniques and sterile manufacturing processes.
- Experience with documentation and record-keeping in a regulated environment.
- Desired Attributes:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Exposure to regulatory audits (USFDA, WHO, EU-GMP) will be an added advantage.
