The Opportunity:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Lead Clinical Specialist to join our Google Health team in India. You will be a critical link between Google’s technology and the Indian healthcare ecosystem, driving adoption of our health tools and ensuring they deliver measurable clinical outcomes and strategic value. You will work closely with government bodies, hospitals, academic partners, and internal Google teams to shape the future of healthcare in India.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and Support Implementation: Spearhead the implementation and adoption of Google health tools among our Indian healthcare partners, ensuring seamless integration and optimal utilization.
- Subject Matter Expertise: Serve as a trusted subject-matter expert, providing clinical guidance and insights to government bodies, hospitals, academic partners, and the broader healthcare ecosystem.
- Clinical Outcomes & Strategic Value: Provide expert consultation to ensure Google healthcare tools deliver measurable clinical outcomes, enhance patient care, and generate strategic value for our partners.
- Relationship Management: Cultivate and expand relationships with senior leaders across India’s health sector, including government officials, hospital executives, and academic leaders. Foster strong relationships within Google across product, engineering, policy, and partnership teams.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with product, engineering, policy, and partnership teams to identify, analyze, and solve clinical and technical challenges, ensuring our tools meet the unique needs of the Indian healthcare landscape.
- Representation & Advocacy: Represent Google in strategic collaborations, policy dialogues, and innovation programs, advocating for the adoption of technology to improve healthcare access and quality.
- Market Analysis: conduct and analyze the local market and competition, understanding the healthcare system of India, including government regulations, policies, payment models, and healthcare delivery structures.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Medical degree (MBBS, MD, or equivalent).
- Minimum 5 years of clinical experience, including residency/training.
- At least 3 years of post-graduate experience in a hospital or primary care setting.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience in clinical policy, technology implementation, or program management in healthcare.
- 5+ years of leadership experience in the healthcare sector.
- Hands-on experience with India’s healthcare systems, digital health programs, policy frameworks, or medical AI applications.
- Strong understanding of the Indian healthcare market and regulatory landscape.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex clinical concepts to non-medical stakeholders.
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
