Job Summary

The QA Specialist is responsible for upholding and improving quality standards throughout our manufacturing processes. This includes conducting inspections, analyzing data, documenting findings, and collaborating with internal teams and external vendors to ensure compliance and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will possess a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to maintaining the integrity of our quality management system.

Responsibilities

  • Apply quality assurance principles to analyze quality records and ensure compliance with established standards and regulations.
  • Prepare comprehensive quality reports outlining inspection results, deviations, and recommended process improvements.
  • Conduct thorough inspection, verification, and validation of components, materials, and finished products to identify defects or inconsistencies.
  • Identify recurring product quality concerns and collaborate with relevant teams to implement solutions and improve testing reliability.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of quality deviations, key performance indicators (KPIs), and findings for management review and audit purposes.
  • Liaise with external vendors to ensure adherence to quality specifications, addressing any discrepancies and proactively preventing future issues.
  • Participate in internal audits and assist in the development and implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of quality processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements

  • Education: Associate’s Degree or equivalent technical qualification.
  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Control, or a related function within the pharmaceutical, healthcare, or manufacturing industry.
  • Skills:
    • Solid understanding of sampling methods, testing methodologies, and quality assurance tools.
    • Strong documentation and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and identify trends.
    • Familiarity with quality management systems (QMS) and regulatory requirements (e.g., ISO standards).
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external vendors.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
