Job Description:
As a Product Specialist / Senior Product Specialist, you will be a critical member of our Cardiometabolic Sales Team, responsible for promoting our innovative portfolio of products to healthcare professionals within your assigned territory. You will play a key role in educating physicians about the benefits of our therapies, building strong relationships with key stakeholders, and driving sales growth to achieve our business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
- Territory Management: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve sales targets and market share growth within your assigned territory.
- Healthcare Professional Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key doctors, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to promote our cardiometabolic portfolio.
- Product Knowledge: Conduct in-depth scientific product discussions with healthcare professionals, effectively communicating the clinical benefits and value proposition of our therapies.
- Sales Performance: Achieve and exceed sales KPIs, including call averages, coverage targets, sales targets, and call frequency objectives.
- Distribution & Availability: Coordinate with C&FA agents and stockists to ensure uninterrupted product availability and optimize distribution channels.
- Market Intelligence: Conduct prescription audits, analyze territory data, and track competitor activities to identify market trends and opportunities.
- Sales Planning & Execution: Assist in the segmentation of doctors and support territory-level sales planning to maximize sales effectiveness.
- Educational Activities: Organize and conduct CMEs and other approved educational activities for healthcare professionals to enhance their knowledge of cardiometabolic therapies.
- Reporting & Compliance: Maintain accurate and timely reporting of sales activities, market data, and customer interactions, and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or Life Sciences (full-time) is required.
- 1–5 years of experience in pharmaceutical sales is essential, with a preference for candidates with experience in the diabetes or cardiometabolic therapeutic area.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and building strong relationships with healthcare professionals.
- Excellent knowledge of the assigned territory, including key accounts, market dynamics, and competitor landscape.
- Strong understanding of stockist management and distribution channels.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively present scientific information to healthcare professionals.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and identify trends and opportunities.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Proficiency in using sales automation tools and CRM systems.
