Job Summary
As a Data Science Intern at Novartis, you will support various data-related activities, including data collection, cleaning, and preprocessing. You will assist in statistical modeling and machine learning experiments, develop data visualizations and dashboards, and work closely with teams across clinical, commercial, and IT functions. Responsibilities
- Assist in the collection, cleaning, and preprocessing of data from various sources.
- Support statistical modeling and machine learning experiments under the guidance of experienced data scientists.
- Develop dashboards and visualizations using appropriate tools to support data-driven business decisions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including clinical, commercial, and IT departments, to understand their data needs and provide analytical support.

Requirements
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or Pharmacy/Life Sciences with a strong analytical focus.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Basic knowledge of programming languages such as Python, SQL, or R, and familiarity with spreadsheet software like Excel is preferred.
- This internship is open to freshers; no prior work experience is required.
