Job Summary

The Clinical Data Associate plays a vital role in supporting the Clinical Data Coordinators within the SCRI UK Drug Development Unit (DDU). This position focuses on the management and integrity of clinical trial data, ensuring its quality and compliance with relevant regulations and study protocols. The successful candidate will contribute to the efficient operation of early-phase oncology trials and the overall success of our research programs.

Responsibilities

  • Submit clinical trial data to external vendors for services such as imaging, blood analysis, and ECG assessments.
  • Provide occasional out-of-hours support to Clinical Data Coordinators, as required.
  • Maintain, check, and archive patient source documents meticulously.
  • Ensure strict compliance with study protocols, Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines, and other relevant regulatory requirements.
  • Attend team meetings and proactively report key actions and updates.
  • Support the data services team with daily operational tasks related to clinical research.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Biological Science or a related life science discipline.
  • A strong interest in oncology clinical trials and a desire to contribute to cancer research.
  • Prior experience in clinical trials data management is highly desirable.
  • Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in data management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy and data integrity.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
