Position Overview
We are currently seeking a Quality Assurance Associate to join our Life Sciences R&D vertical. In this role, you will be an integral part of our Clinical, Pharmacovigilance, and Regulatory sub-offerings. You will support leading biopharmaceutical companies in bringing their visions to life by improving patient outcomes and connecting scientific expertise with real-world patient insights.
Your primary focus will be on Quality Governance and Services. This involves setting and enforcing strict standards to ensure the quality of products and services. You will be responsible for developing quality policies, conducting internal audits, and ensuring complete compliance with industry regulations. Your work will be vital in reducing operational errors, maintaining high standards of consistency, and enhancing the overall performance and reliability of our services.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will act as an individual contributor within a dedicated team. Your core duties include:
- Operational Audit and Risk Mitigation: Audit and manage the effective implementation of functional processes, including policies related to anti-corruption, Business Continuity Management (BCM), Information Security, and Records Management.
- Control Effectiveness: Establish clear processes to validate current control effectiveness and drive continuous improvements across operations.
- Validation Support: Support or conduct validation efforts for various Accenture projects, including system implementations, the development of non-commercial systems, managed hosted system deployments, and system decommissioning.
- Documentation Excellence: Author and coordinate the creation of essential regulatory documentation to ensure adherence to current FDA regulations and industry standards. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Test scripts and checklists (IQ/OQ/UAT)
- Requirements Specifications
- Requirement Traceability Matrices
- System Validation Master Plans
- Final Validation Summary Reports
- Project Management: Oversee the coordination and project management of validation efforts.
- Collaboration: Actively participate in team meetings and contribute to knowledge exchange within the Validation Team and with broader colleagues.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must demonstrate the following attributes:
- Academic Background: A degree in Engineering (BE), MSc, or Bachelor of Pharmacy.
- Experience: 1 to 3 years of relevant professional experience.
- Analytical Skills: High attention to detail with the ability to solve routine problems using established guidelines and precedents.
- Soft Skills: Strong teamwork capabilities, the ability to perform effectively under pressure, and the discipline to meet strict deadlines.
- Stakeholder Management: Ability to manage multiple stakeholders effectively while receiving moderate levels of instruction for daily tasks.
- Communication: Proficiency in English (International) is mandatory.
