Ami Lifesciences, a rapidly growing API (Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients) and bulk drug manufacturing company in India, is seeking experienced and motivated professionals to join our team. We are hosting a walk-in interview in Vadodara on Friday, December 5th, 2025, for positions in our Production, Engineering (Maintenance/Instrumentation/Utility), and Quality Control departments. Job Summary

We are seeking experienced professionals with 2-8 years of experience in the API pharma industry to fill positions in our Production, Engineering, and Quality Control departments. Successful candidates will contribute to our manufacturing operations, ensuring compliance with cGMP and regulatory standards while driving continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

Production (API/Bulk Drugs):

  • Manage batch start-up, monitoring, and process optimization.
  • Ensure strict adherence to cGMP compliance and regulatory standards.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of BMR, batch records, and validation protocols.

Engineering (Maintenance, Instrumentation & Utility):

  • Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance on mechanical equipment.
  • Conduct calibration and troubleshooting of instrumentation and control systems.
  • Oversee the operation and maintenance of utilities, including boilers, chillers, HVAC, and compressors.
  • Develop and maintain SOPs, DQ/IQ/OQ/PQ protocols.

Quality Control (QC):

  • Perform HPLC, GC, UV, and wet analysis of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products.
  • Conduct stability studies and microbiological testing (MLT, environmental monitoring).
  • Ensure GLP-compliant documentation and maintain audit-ready records.

Requirements

  • Production: B.Tech in Chemical Engineering or M.Sc. in Chemistry with 2–7 years of experience in API/Bulk Drugs manufacturing.
  • Engineering (Maintenance, Instrumentation & Utility): B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or Instrumentation with 3–8 years of experience in the API industry.
  • Quality Control (QC): M.Sc. in Organic/Analytical Chemistry or M.Pharm with 2–5 years of experience in the API industry.
  • Proven experience in the relevant area within the API pharma industry.
  • Strong understanding of cGMP and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
