Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Executive/Senior Executive to join our Biologicals Manufacturing team. This role will be responsible for the operation and monitoring of large-scale fermentation and downstream processing equipment, ensuring compliance with cGMP regulations, and maintaining accurate batch records.
Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor large-scale fermenters (3 KL – 30 KL) and downstream processing equipment.
- Perform various purification techniques, including filtration, centrifugation, chromatography, lyophilization, and spray drying.
- Ensure strict adherence to cGMP guidelines, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and safety protocols in all biologics manufacturing activities.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive batch records, ensuring traceability and data integrity.
- Troubleshoot process deviations and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Work effectively in rotational shifts to meet production demands.
- Participate in equipment maintenance and cleaning activities.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Education: Diploma in Chemical Engineering or B.Sc. in Microbiology / Biochemistry / Biotechnology.
- Experience: 1-4 years of hands-on experience in fermentation and downstream processing of biologics, probiotics, enzymes, or small molecules.
- Technical Skills: Practical experience operating large-scale fermenters, continuous centrifuges, TFF systems, lyophilizers, or spray dryers.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Solid understanding of cGMP regulations and documentation practices in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work in shifts as per production requirements (mandatory).
