Job Title: Apprentice Research Analyst

Responsibilities:
As an Apprentice Research Analyst, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the high quality of our financial data. Your responsibilities will include:
- Data Collection and Analysis: Collect, analyze, and process financial market data from various sources using FactSet’s internal tools and methodologies.
- Data Validation and Integrity: Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of financial information by performing rigorous quality checks and adhering to established guidelines.
- Financial Statement Analysis: Work with financial statements, including Balance Sheets, Income Statements, and Cash Flow statements, to extract relevant data and identify potential discrepancies.
- Textual Data Extraction: Extract textual data related to business activities, officers, shareholders, and other key information from company filings and reports.
- Issue Resolution: Identify and resolve audit issues raised by the Quality Control (QC) and Policy teams, ensuring compliance with established standards.
- Market Research Support: Support market research initiatives, analytical tasks, and client-specific data requests by providing accurate and timely data.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed daily activity logs and generate reports to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
- Process Improvement: Proactively suggest process improvements and contribute to team efficiency by identifying opportunities to streamline workflows and enhance data quality.
Qualifications and Skills:
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business Management.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong computer literacy and familiarity with databases.
