Department: Production (Injectables – Sterile Manufacturing)
Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain vial/ampoule washing, depyrogenation tunnel, filling, sealing, and lyophilization equipment.
- Perform compounding, filtration, and aseptic area operations.
- Operate and clean autoclaves, parts washers, and terminal sterilizers.
- Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Participate in investigations, deviations, change control, and CAPA activities.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and documentation requirements.
- Utilize PLC/SCADA, BMS, and EMS systems.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation.
Qualifications:
- Education:
- B.Sc (Chemistry), M.Sc (Chemistry)
- B.Pharmacy, M.Pharmacy
- ITI (relevant trades)
- Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Instrumentation Engineering
- Experience: 2 to 6 years of hands-on experience in a regulated injectable manufacturing facility is mandatory.
Key Skills:
- Experience in vial/ampoule washing, depyrogenation tunnel, filling, sealing, and lyophilization operations.
- Expertise in compounding, filtration, and aseptic area operations.
- Proficiency in operating and cleaning autoclaves, parts washers, and terminal sterilizers.
- Exposure to USFDA, MHRA, and other regulatory audits.
- Knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS) – deviations, change control, CAPA, and investigations.
- Hands-on experience with PLC/SCADA, BMS, and EMS systems.
- Familiarity with 21 CFR Part 11 compliance and electronic batch records.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in oncology, hormones, and high-potency injectable manufacturing.
