Role Description
As a QC Executive specializing in API analysis, you will play a critical role in maintaining the integrity of our products. You will be responsible for performing precise analytical testing, managing laboratory equipment, and ensuring that all documentation adheres to stringent quality and regulatory guidelines. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HPLC and a deep understanding of laboratory operations within the pharmaceutical industry.
Key Responsibilities
Quality Analysis: Perform routine and non-routine analysis of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API) using High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) to ensure product quality.
Operational Expertise: Utilize Shimadzu and Agilent OpenLab software for data acquisition, processing, and reporting. You will be responsible for maintaining the smooth operation of these instruments to ensure accurate analytical results.
Documentation and Compliance: Maintain meticulous laboratory records, test logs, and analytical reports. Ensure all testing activities are performed in strict accordance with Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) to meet regulatory requirements.
Method Development and Validation: Assist in the validation and transfer of analytical methods, ensuring that all laboratory processes remain consistent and reliable.
Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve analytical challenges, equipment malfunctions, or data discrepancies that may arise during the testing process.
Qualification and Skills
To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:
Academic Background: A Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) or Master of Science (M.Sc) degree in Chemistry or a related scientific discipline is required.
Professional Experience: We are looking for candidates with 4 to 6 years of hands-on experience in the quality control department of an API manufacturing unit.
Technical Proficiency: Expert-level knowledge of HPLC (High-Performance Liquid Chromatography) is non-negotiable. Additionally, hands-on experience with Shimadzu and Agilent OpenLab software systems is highly preferred.
Regulatory Knowledge: A comprehensive understanding of cGMP and GLP guidelines is essential. Candidates should demonstrate a proactive approach to maintaining safety and quality standards in a laboratory environment.
Analytical Skills: Strong attention to detail, a sharp analytical mindset, and the ability to interpret complex data accurately.
