Job Summary

C5i is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical professional to join our team in Gurugram as an Analyst – Competitive Intelligence (Pharma). This role is designed for individuals with 1–5 years of experience in market research, healthcare analytics, or competitive intelligence. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in monitoring pharmaceutical industry trends, tracking clinical pipelines, and generating strategic insights that empower global stakeholders. Responsibilities

As an Analyst, you will be responsible for providing accurate, data-driven insights to support our clients’ strategic decision-making. Your core duties will include:

  • Industry Monitoring: Actively track and analyze developments across the pharmaceutical sector, including clinical trial progress, regulatory updates, and competitor movements.
  • Data Management: Build and maintain comprehensive pipeline landscapes, regulatory timelines, and CI trackers to ensure data accuracy.
  • Research Execution: Conduct systematic data collection, screening, and prioritization using structured analytical methodologies.
  • Reporting & Communication: Develop high-quality competitive intelligence reports, newsletters, and summaries. Create professional, data-driven presentations using Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strategy Optimization: Design and refine search strategies, keyword monitoring, and intelligence frameworks.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with global teams to provide actionable market insights and strategic support.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure all deliverables meet strict quality standards and timelines, proactively identifying and escalating potential risks.

Requirements

We are looking for a candidate who is passionate about life sciences and possesses the following qualifications:

  • Education: A degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Biotechnology, or a related field.
  • Experience: 1–4 years of professional experience in Competitive Intelligence (CI), Market Research, Healthcare Analytics, or Life Sciences Consulting.
  • Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. Familiarity with clinical trial registries (e.g., ClinicalTrials.gov) and regulatory databases (e.g., FDA, EMA, CDSCO).
  • Analytical Mindset: A strong aptitude for research, data synthesis, and attention to detail.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
  • Development: A commitment to building deep expertise in specific therapy areas to enable independent analysis and strategic contributions.

Work Model & Shift Details

This position is based in our Gurugram office and follows a hybrid/rotational shift model to facilitate collaboration with our global client base:

  • Shift Structure: A rotational schedule consisting of approximately 4 months in a US shift and 8 months in an India shift.
