Job Description:
We are currently seeking experienced API Production Executives/Officers to be responsible for the smooth and efficient operation of API production processes. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the production of high-quality APIs in accordance with established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
Key Responsibilities:
- Operation and Monitoring: Operate and meticulously monitor reactors, centrifuges, dryers, filtration systems, and other equipment within the API production blocks.
- Batch Execution: Execute batch manufacturing processes strictly according to Batch Manufacturing Records (BMRs)/Batch Production Records (BPRs) and maintain thorough GMP documentation.
- Documentation and Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date online documentation, logbooks, and equipment cleaning records.
- Material Handling: Handle solvents, raw materials, and intermediates in a safe and responsible manner, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Collaboration: Coordinate effectively with Quality Control (QC), Quality Assurance (QA), Maintenance, and Warehouse teams to ensure seamless production operations.
- Compliance: Actively participate in qualification, validation, and audit-facing activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Troubleshooting and Improvement: Proactively identify and troubleshoot process deviations, contribute to yield improvement initiatives, and participate in continuous improvement projects.
- Safety: Adhere to and promote a strong safety culture within the production environment, ensuring compliance with Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) norms.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Education: M.Sc (Organic/Analytical Chemistry) or B.E/B.Tech (Chemical Engineering) from a recognized university.
- Experience: 1 to 4 years of relevant experience in API/Bulk Drug manufacturing. Experience in USFDA/MHRA-approved plants is highly preferred.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), and Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) norms.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with Distributed Control System (DCS)/Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) operations is an added advantage.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and team coordination skills. Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and address process deviations and inefficiencies.
