Roles and Responsibilities

As a Manufacturing Associate, you will play a critical role in our production cycle. Your core responsibilities will include:

  • Manufacturing Operations: Execute daily production activities related to lentiviral vector manufacturing, ensuring adherence to established protocols.
  • Cell Culture: Perform and manage mammalian cell culture processes with a high degree of precision.
  • Technical Execution: Conduct essential molecular biology techniques, including PCR and qPCR, to support manufacturing requirements.
  • Downstream Processing: Assist in protein purification and downstream processing activities to ensure product purity.
  • Compliance & Documentation: Maintain meticulous records and logs in strict accordance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) guidelines.
  • Quality & Safety: Ensure all activities are performed in full compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
  • Process Optimization: Support scale-up initiatives and process improvement projects to enhance efficiency.
  • Collaboration: Work effectively within cross-functional teams to meet production milestones and project timelines.

Required Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess one of the following academic backgrounds:

  • B.Pharm or M.Pharm.
  • B.Sc or M.Sc in Biotechnology, Microbiology, Life Sciences, or a closely related discipline.

Required Skills & Experience

We are looking for candidates who demonstrate both technical proficiency and a commitment to quality. Essential skills include:

  • Hands-on Laboratory Expertise: Practical experience in mammalian cell culture techniques is mandatory.
  • Technical Proficiency: A strong understanding of molecular biology techniques (PCR, qPCR) and protein purification methods.
  • GMP Awareness: A foundational understanding of working within a GMP-regulated environment.
  • Analytical Mindset: Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy, particularly regarding data entry and technical documentation.
  • Teamwork: The ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, high-standard production facility.
