Key Responsibilities
Both roles offer the opportunity to contribute to high-impact market research and data analysis projects within the medical device sector. Specific responsibilities include:
- Market Research & Data Collection: Conduct in-depth interviews with industry experts, medical professionals, and key opinion leaders to gather valuable insights.
- Data Analysis & Interpretation: Extract relevant information and insights from Clarivate’s proprietary research library and external data sources.
- Financial & Regulatory Analysis: Analyze financial data, regulatory filings, and government healthcare datasets to identify key trends and opportunities.
- Market Modeling & Forecasting: Develop sophisticated market models and forecasting frameworks to predict future market trends and growth potential.
- Data Integration: Integrate qualitative and quantitative data to create comprehensive and holistic market insights.
- Trend Identification: Identify emerging market trends using time-series analysis and other advanced analytical techniques.
- Report Creation: Develop comprehensive MedTech research reports that provide actionable insights for our clients.
Additional Responsibilities for Healthcare Research & Data Analyst (Experienced):
- Client Engagement: Manage client relationships and provide expert support on ad-hoc research projects.
- Project Leadership: Lead and manage complex research projects, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
- Mentoring & Training: Mentor and train junior team members, sharing your expertise and knowledge.
- Subject Matter Expertise: Serve as a subject matter expert in specific medical device areas, particularly cardiovascular devices.
Required Qualifications
Associate Healthcare Research & Data Analyst:
- Master’s degree in Life Sciences, MBA, Pharm D, or PhD.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and advanced formulas.
- Strong critical thinking, presentation, and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze data and generate actionable insights.
Healthcare Research & Data Analyst (Experienced):
- Bachelor’s degree in Technology (B.Tech), Master’s degree, Pharm D, or PhD.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in healthcare market research or forecasting.
- Expertise in MedTech or at least one specific medical device area.
- Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and data modeling techniques.
- Understanding of US healthcare markets is preferred.
- Demonstrated leadership and multitasking abilities.
