Salary: ₹20,000 per month

Role Overview:

As a Research Associate, you will be an integral part of our research team, supporting maternal health research activities at AFMC Pune. Your responsibilities will encompass clinical coordination, meticulous data management, detailed study observation, and accurate documentation. You will be working closely with investigators, clinicians, and our central research team to ensure the successful execution of our research projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Management & Operations:
    • Serve as the primary on-site point of contact for all study-related activities at AFMC.
    • Cultivate and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with investigators and clinical partners.
    • Proactively track project timelines, identify potential roadblocks, and implement solutions to overcome operational challenges.
    • Observe clinicians utilizing monitoring devices in real-world settings and gather valuable usability insights to inform product development.
    • Collaborate with central teams to analyze device performance and usage patterns, contributing to ongoing improvements.
  • Study Design & Data Management:
    • Assist in refining study design based on established research objectives.
    • Collect, meticulously evaluate, and validate clinical data in strict adherence to study protocols.
    • Ensure the highest levels of data accuracy, integrity, and proper formatting to facilitate seamless analysis.
    • Conduct preliminary statistical and observational analysis to identify key trends and patterns.
    • Summarize research findings and prepare structured reports for internal review and dissemination.
    • Maintain unwavering ethical compliance, comprehensive documentation, and adherence to all relevant regulatory standards.
  • Reporting & Documentation:
    • Maintain detailed daily logs and comprehensive site activity reports.
    • Prepare interim and final research documentation, including detailed case summaries.
    • Submit timely weekly/monthly progress reports to the central research team, providing updates on key milestones and challenges.

Qualifications:

  • Educational Requirements:
    • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in one of the following fields:
      • Medicine
      • Biosciences
      • Biomedical Science
      • Life Sciences
      • A related field

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience working in hospital or clinical research settings.
  • Demonstrated understanding of clinical study coordination principles.
  • Proficiency in data management tools such as Excel, SPSS, and Google Sheets.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Willingness to travel as required to meet stakeholders and support project needs.
