Job Summary
As a Data Analyst Intern, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve business challenges using data. You’ll be responsible for interpreting data from various sources, developing efficient data models, and creating insightful dashboards and reports. This internship is designed to provide you with valuable industry exposure and mentorship to kickstart your career in data analytics.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address business needs using data analysis.
- Interpret data from multiple sources to derive actionable insights and recommendations.
- Write, optimize, and execute SQL queries to support ETL processes.
- Build efficient data models using data warehousing principles.
- Develop interactive and visually appealing dashboards and reports using Power BI.
- Apply critical thinking and analytical skills to analyze complex datasets.
- Utilize Python for data automation and wrangling tasks (preferred).
- Work with digital analytics tools such as Google Analytics and social media insights platforms.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
- 1–3 years of relevant experience in analytics or a related field.
- Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts (facts, dimensions, joins).
- Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and Power BI (experience or certification required).
- Familiarity with Python, stored procedures, and ETL workflows is a plus.
- Exposure to digital data sources (Google Analytics, search, email, social media) is desirable.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and effectively in a remote environment.
