Job Description
As a Medical Coding Trainee, you will play a vital role in the healthcare documentation process. Medical coding is the backbone of the healthcare revenue cycle, ensuring that medical services, diagnoses, and procedures are accurately translated into standardized alphanumeric codes for billing and record-keeping purposes.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
Reviewing medical documentation to accurately assign diagnosis and procedure codes.
Maintaining a high standard of quality, with a target of 95 percent or higher accuracy in all coding tasks.
Strictly adhering to internal compliance guidelines and client-specific requirements to ensure regulatory standards are met.
Continuously updating your knowledge regarding medical terminology, coding guidelines, and healthcare industry trends.
Candidate Profile
We are looking for individuals who are ready to start their professional journey and possess a genuine interest in the medical field. To be considered for this role, you must meet the following criteria:
Academic Background: You must be a graduate in a Life Science or Paramedical stream. Candidates who graduated between 2023 and 2025 are eligible to apply.
Academic Standing: It is mandatory that you have no active backlogs.
Skillset: You should possess strong analytical and logical thinking abilities. As this role requires interpreting medical records, a high level of attention to detail is essential.
Communication: You must have a basic command of the English language to effectively communicate and understand complex documentation.
