We are currently hiring for the following positions within our Fermentation Production (Upstream) department:

Department: API Division – Fermentation Production (Upstream)
Location: Kakinada, Andhra Pradesh (Full-time, On-site)
Experience Required: 2–10 years in large-scale fermentation production within the API/bulk drug industry.
Responsibilities:
As a member of our Fermentation Production team, you will be responsible for:
- Operating and monitoring large-scale fermenters (50 KL and above) to ensure optimal performance and product quality.
- Handling all aspects of seed development, inoculum preparation, media sterilization, and execution of fermentation batches.
- Performing in-process sampling, parameter monitoring, and troubleshooting to maintain consistent and efficient fermentation processes.
- Maintaining accurate and complete GMP documentation, including batch records and logbooks, in compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Ensuring proper cleaning, sterilization (SIP/CIP), and readiness of equipment for fermentation processes.
- Collaborating effectively with downstream processing, quality control, and engineering teams to ensure seamless operations.
- Adhering strictly to all safety, EHS, and regulatory guidelines to maintain a safe and compliant working environment.
Qualifications & Experience:
To be considered for this role, you should possess the following qualifications and experience:
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Biotechnology or a related field (e.g., Microbiology, Biochemical Engineering). A B.Tech in Biotechnology will also be considered.
- 2–10 years of hands-on experience in upstream fermentation production within the API or bulk drug industry.
- Proven expertise in operating large-scale stainless steel fermenters.
- A strong understanding of microbial fermentation processes involving bacteria, fungi, or yeast.
- Familiarity with DCS/SCADA systems for process control and monitoring is an advantage.
- Excellent GMP documentation skills and a thorough understanding of regulatory requirements.
