Job Title: API Manufacturing Professionals – Walk-In Interview
Job Summary:
NATCO Pharma Limited is seeking experienced and motivated professionals to join our API (Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients) manufacturing unit in Manali, Chennai. We are conducting a walk-in interview event on December 6th, 2025, for various positions in Production, Maintenance (Mechanical/Electrical/Instrumentation), EHS, Quality Assurance, Quality Control, and Microbiology. Job Responsibilities:
The specific responsibilities will vary depending on the position. However, general responsibilities may include:
- Production: Operating reactors and other equipment, ensuring adherence to GMP documentation, and contributing to regulatory compliance and process improvement.
- Maintenance: Performing maintenance on utilities, mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation systems, troubleshooting equipment issues, and ensuring optimal performance.
- EHS: Conducting risk assessments, managing permit systems, conducting emergency drills, and ensuring a safe working environment.
- QA/QC/Microbiology: Performing quality assurance activities, conducting quality control testing, performing microbiological analysis, and ensuring compliance with quality standards.
Requirements:
- Relevant experience in API/bulk drugs manufacturing (1-13 years, depending on the position).
- For Maintenance positions, a Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Instrumentation Engineering is required.
- For Production positions, a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering is required.
- For EHS positions, a Diploma/B.Sc/B.Tech (Chemical/Mech/Electrical) with Industrial Safety certification is required.
- For Instrumentation Supervisor positions, experience with PLC, 21CFR, and validation is required.
- Strong understanding of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Specific Openings and Requirements:
1. Maintenance Department (Utilities / Mechanical / Electrical / Instrumentation)
- Operator (Utilities / Electrical / Instrumentation): 2-5 years of experience
- Supervisor (Mechanical / Utilities): 7-10 years of experience
- Instrumentation Supervisor: 8-10 years of experience (PLC, 21CFR, Validation)
- Asst. Manager (E&I): 10-12 years of experience; Qualification: DME / B.E – Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation
2. Production (API Manufacturing)
- Operator: 1-5 years of experience (Reactor, AGR, Clean Room)
- Supervisor: 1-5 years of experience (GMP Documentation)
- Asst. Manager: 10-13 years of experience (Regulatory Compliance & Process Improvement); Qualification: B.Tech / B.E – Chemical Engineering
3. EHS (Environment, Health & Safety)
- Safety Supervisor: 3-5 years of experience (Risk Assessment, Permit System, Emergency Drills); Qualification: Diploma / B.Sc / B.Tech (Chemical/Mech/Electrical) + Industrial Safety
4. Quality Assurance (QA), Quality Control (QC) & Microbiology
