Job Summary
We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Medical Coding Trainees/Coders in Bangalore. This position involves participating in structured training programs, learning to accurately assign medical codes based on patient records, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations. Responsibilities
- Thoroughly review and analyze patient medical records to identify relevant diagnoses and procedures.
- Accurately assign ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS codes based on medical record documentation.
- Ensure coding compliance with all applicable regulatory and payer guidelines.
- Collaborate effectively with audit and quality assurance teams to maintain coding accuracy and consistency.
- Maintain expected levels of coding productivity and accuracy as defined by company standards.
- Participate actively in ongoing training and educational opportunities to enhance coding knowledge and skills.
Requirements
- Fresh graduates with a background in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Nursing, or Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) are eligible to apply.
- BDS candidates are preferred for specialized Dental Coding training.
- Certified Professional Coders (CPC) can apply for direct hiring positions.
- Strong communication and analytical skills are essential.
- Must be willing to undergo full-time, offline training in Bangalore.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- A detail-oriented approach to ensure accuracy in coding.
Training Programs
We offer several training programs designed to meet different skill levels and career interests:
- EM OP (80 Days): Includes CPC training, placement assistance, and free CPC certification upon successful onboarding.
- HH (60 Days): Placement assurance and free BCHH certification after onboarding.
- ED (55 Days): Placement assistance.
- Dental Coding (45 Days): Specialized training specifically for BDS graduates, including placement assistance.
Training programs are conducted offline in Bangalore, from 8 AM to 5 PM.
