Role and Responsibilities
As a Production Officer, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of our manufacturing floor. Your core duties will include:
- Executing daily production activities strictly in accordance with Batch Manufacturing Records (BMR) to ensure consistency and compliance.
- Operating and monitoring advanced API manufacturing equipment, ensuring all processes are handled according to Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) guidelines.
- Maintaining a high level of vigilance regarding safety and quality standards during the production lifecycle.
- Coordinating effectively with the Quality Assurance (QA), Quality Control (QC), and Engineering departments to ensure seamless manufacturing operations and minimize downtime.
- Documenting production data accurately and resolving technical issues as they arise on the shop floor.
Required Qualifications and Skills
To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Educational Qualification: A Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) or Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Chemistry is mandatory.
- Professional Experience: Candidates must possess 2 to 5 years of relevant experience within a pharmaceutical production department, specifically with exposure to API manufacturing.
- Technical Knowledge: A strong understanding of GMP guidelines and the ability to interpret and follow BMR documentation is essential.
- Soft Skills: Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment are highly valued.
