Job Title: Product Executive

Location: Ahmedabad, Gujarat (On-site)

Department: Marketing

Reports To: Product Manager/Marketing Manager

Responsibilities:

As a Product Executive, you will play a crucial role in supporting the development and implementation of marketing strategies for our pharmaceutical products. Your key responsibilities will include:

1. Product Strategy & Planning:

  • Contribute to the development of annual brand plans and marketing strategies, aligned with company objectives.
  • Conduct thorough market research and competitive analysis to identify market trends and product opportunities.
  • Assist in the development of pricing, positioning, and promotional strategies for assigned products.

2. Marketing & Promotional Activities:

  • Develop a range of marketing materials, including Visual Aids (VAs), Leave Behind Literature (LBLs), brand reminders, and campaign materials.
  • Coordinate with design agencies and printing vendors to ensure timely and high-quality production of marketing materials.
  • Plan and execute marketing campaigns, Continuing Medical Education (CMEs) events, webinars, and digital marketing initiatives.

3. Sales Team Support:

  • Provide comprehensive training and regular product updates to the field sales force.
  • Develop product manuals, brand presentations, and training modules to enhance product knowledge and selling skills.
  • Analyze product performance data and gather field feedback to identify areas for improvement and optimization.

4. Product Life-Cycle Management:

  • Monitor product demand, forecast future requirements, and collaborate with supply chain to ensure optimal stock levels.
  • Support the launch of new products, including the development of content, packaging, and communication strategies.

5. Medical & Scientific Content:

  • Collaborate with the medical team to develop accurate and engaging scientific content, monographs, and clinical summaries.
  • Stay abreast of the latest therapeutic advancements and relevant clinical studies to ensure the scientific integrity of marketing materials.

6. Cross-Functional Coordination:

  • Collaborate effectively with internal teams, including regulatory affairs, supply chain, and sales, as well as external agencies and vendors.
  • Ensure the timely execution of all marketing initiatives, adhering to established timelines and budgets.

7. Performance Monitoring:

  • Track brand performance using sales data, market insights, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Prepare Management Information System (MIS) reports and dashboards to communicate performance trends and insights.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Educational Qualification: B.Pharm / M.Pharm / B.Sc / M.Sc (Life Sciences)
  • MBA in Marketing (preferred, but not mandatory for candidates with 0-3 years of experience).
  • Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical industry and key therapeutic areas.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to conduct research and interpret data.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Creative thinking and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Basic scientific/medical knowledge.
