Key Responsibilities:
As an IRT Project Manager at ICON, you will play a critical role in the successful execution of clinical trials by leading and managing IRT-related activities. Your responsibilities will include:
- Project Leadership: Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of IRT projects, ensuring alignment with global clinical trial protocols and regulatory standards.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including clinical operations, data management, and technology teams, to ensure seamless integration of IRT systems into clinical trials.
- Project Management: Develop and monitor project timelines, budgets, and deliverables, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Stakeholder Management: Manage stakeholder communication and expectations, providing regular updates on project status and addressing any issues or concerns.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate project risks, developing and implementing risk mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
- Process Improvement: Stay updated on IRT/RTSM industry trends and best practices, and drive process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of IRT projects.
- System Configuration and Validation: Oversee the configuration and validation of IRT systems, ensuring they meet the specific requirements of each clinical trial.
- User Training and Support: Provide training and support to clinical trial staff on the use of IRT systems.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and complete project documentation, including project plans, timelines, and risk assessments.
Eligibility & Required Skills:
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Project Management, or a related field.
- Advanced degree preferred (M.Sc., M.Pharm, MBA, PMP certification, etc.).
Must-Have Skills:
- Proven experience in IRT/RTSM solutions within clinical research.
- Strong project management and leadership abilities in a matrix environment.
- Excellent communication, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- In-depth understanding of clinical operations, regulatory guidelines (e.g., FDA, EMA), and trial workflows.
- Experience with IRT system configuration, validation, and user training.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
