Responsibilities:
- Accurately process US medical billing accounts within established turnaround times (TAT).
- Efficiently handle payer rejections, identifying and resolving issues to ensure claim approval.
- Work effectively in a 24×7 environment, including night shifts, to meet client needs.
- Maintain comprehensive and accurate documentation using MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ensure billing accuracy to minimize denials and optimize revenue outcomes.
- Stay up-to-date on changes to US healthcare regulations, medical billing guidelines, and payer requirements.
- Collaborate with team members and cross-functional teams to resolve complex billing issues.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and compliance standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized institution.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Basic understanding of the US healthcare system.
- Familiarity with Medicare and Medicaid billing rules (preferred).
- Knowledge of medical billing workflows (preferred).
Preferred Skills:
- Prior experience or knowledge of healthcare processes.
- Ability to work collaboratively with peers, senior team members, and cross-functional teams.
- Strong willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic healthcare environment.
