Responsibilities:

  • Accurately process US medical billing accounts within established turnaround times (TAT).
  • Efficiently handle payer rejections, identifying and resolving issues to ensure claim approval.
  • Work effectively in a 24×7 environment, including night shifts, to meet client needs.
  • Maintain comprehensive and accurate documentation using MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ensure billing accuracy to minimize denials and optimize revenue outcomes.
  • Stay up-to-date on changes to US healthcare regulations, medical billing guidelines, and payer requirements.
  • Collaborate with team members and cross-functional teams to resolve complex billing issues.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and compliance standards.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized institution.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Basic understanding of the US healthcare system.
  • Familiarity with Medicare and Medicaid billing rules (preferred).
  • Knowledge of medical billing workflows (preferred).

Preferred Skills:

  • Prior experience or knowledge of healthcare processes.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with peers, senior team members, and cross-functional teams.
