Job Summary
We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Lab Analyst to join our Manufacturing (QA/QC) department. This role is essential for maintaining our high standards of quality by performing reliable analytical services and ensuring strict adherence to safety and operational guidelines. The ideal candidate will conduct testing, manage laboratory data, and support our commitment to quality excellence.
Purpose of the Role
The primary purpose of this position is to execute comprehensive Quality Assurance and Quality Control activities at our site. As a Lab Analyst, you will provide efficient and reliable analytical services to the plant, helping to identify any deviations from established quality standards, testing methods, or safety protocols. You will be responsible for ensuring that all products and processes meet our rigorous internal specifications.

Policies, Procedures, and Process Adherence
– Maintain strict compliance with standard operating procedures and established quality management systems.
– Adhere to all Health, Safety, and Environment (HSEF) practices and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
– Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to contribute to the continuous improvement of laboratory processes and systems.
– Actively participate in professional training sessions to enhance your technical competencies and knowledge base.
Quality Assurance Operations
– Perform inspection of incoming routine samples and manage their distribution to the appropriate laboratory sections for analysis.
– Promptly escalate any concerns regarding abnormal samples or delivery delays to the shift in-charge.
– Conduct precise analytical tests using validated techniques, ensuring that all reported data is reliable and accurate.
– Monitor and report any deviations in test results to relevant stakeholders immediately.
– Assist in emergency mitigation efforts under the direct guidance of the shift in-charge.
– Execute proper sample management protocols, including the safe and efficient disposal of left-over samples.
– Maintain a clean and organized laboratory workspace, ensuring all analytical equipment and gear are properly maintained and ready for future use.
– Accurately document all test results in the laboratory information management system (LIMS), raw data books, and process registers.
Education and Experience Requirements
To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:
Essential Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Science (Chemistry specialization is highly preferred).
– Master’s degree in Science (Chemistry specialization is highly preferred).
– 0 to 3 years of relevant experience in a Quality Assurance or Quality Control environment.
Desired Skills and Competencies:
– Strong understanding of laboratory test procedures, sample handling, and result reporting.
– Proficiency in analyzing process stream samples.
– Familiarity with product classification and quality certification processes.
– Experience with method development and validation techniques.
– Ability to manage customer complaints and perform feedback analysis.
– Experience utilizing LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System) and SAP-QM is highly advantageous.
