Job Summary

This job posting outlines three distinct opportunities at Piramal Pharma Solutions:

  • Research Associate – AR&D (Analytical R&D): Conduct analytical testing, method development, and validation in support of API manufacturing in Digwal, Telangana.
  • Trainee – SCM (Supply Chain Management): Provide support for procurement, warehouse coordination, and quality assurance within the supply chain function in Chennai.
  • Apprentice – Production/Quality Support: Support production and quality activities, ensuring safety and GMP compliance in Digwal, Telangana.

Responsibilities and Requirements for Each Position are Listed Below:

1. Research Associate – AR&D (Analytical R&D)

  • Location: Digwal, Medak, Telangana
  • Department: PTS – PPL Digwal
  • Experience: 4–8 years in API Manufacturing / GMP

Responsibilities:

  • Independently manage and execute analytical projects.
  • Provide analytical testing support to Product Development Group (PDG) synthetic teams.
  • Coordinate with Quality Assurance (QA) for method transfer, Change Control Forms (CCF), and investigations.
  • Operate and maintain analytical instruments, including HPLC, GC, Potentiometer, and Polarimeter.
  • Perform method development, validation, and implementation.
  • Prepare protocols, reports, Standard Test Procedures (STP), and specifications.
  • Maintain GLP documentation and ensure compliance with 21 CFR Part-11 regulations.
  • Perform instrument calibration and maintain controlled laboratory conditions.
  • Manage reagents, volumetric solutions, and hazardous waste compliance.

Requirements:

  • M.Sc. in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, or Organic Chemistry.
  • Strong hands-on experience with HPLC and GC is essential.

2. Trainee – SCM (Supply Chain Management)

  • Location: Chennai
  • Experience: Freshers / 1–2 Years
  • Qualification: B.Sc./M.Sc. Chemistry or B.Tech/BE Chemical Engineering

Responsibilities:

  • Procurement Support:
    • Coordinate with the site buyer on Request for Proposal (RFP) requirements.
    • Track open Purchase Orders (POs), delivery schedules, and stock confirmations.
    • Follow up with Quality Control (QC) for material clearance.
    • Ensure safety stocks for solvents and cylinders are maintained.
    • Support the development of alternate vendors.
  • Warehouse Coordination:
    • Verify SAP inventory against physical stock levels.
    • Review Certificates of Analysis (COAs), Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS), and shipment documents.
    • Ensure a smooth flow of inward materials.
  • QA Coordination:
    • Manage vendor questionnaires.
    • Arrange samples for vendor approvals.
    • Support change controls and vendor audits.

Requirements:

  • B.Sc./M.Sc. in Chemistry or B.Tech/BE in Chemical Engineering

3. Apprentice – Production/Quality Support

  • Location: Digwal, Medak, Telangana

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure safe working conditions and compliance with GMP standards.
  • Train helpers and contract workforce on safety and operational procedures.
  • Maintain Batch Manufacturing Records (BMRs), Batch Production Records (BPRs), logbooks, and checklists accurately.
  • Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and permit-to-work safety requirements diligently.
  • Coordinate with Maintenance and Engineering departments for planned maintenance (PM) tasks.
  • Ensure cleanliness, proper housekeeping, and timely batch execution.
  • Actively participate in Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) activities and audits.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (Science/Pharma preferred)
