Role Overview:

As an Associate Project Specialist within Sanofi Business Operations (SBO), you will be an integral part of our team supporting worldwide medical and commercial teams. Your primary focus will be to enhance content quality, ensure compliance with industry standards, and contribute to publishing excellence. This position offers significant growth potential within our global pharmaceutical environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Support: Assist the scientific writer with the complete lifecycle of medical publications and medical education materials, from initial concept to final dissemination.
  • Timeline Management: Meticulously track project timelines, identify potential risks and issues, and monitor progress against key milestones.
  • Workflow Management: Oversee submission workflows, including managing amendments, updates, review cycles, and obtaining necessary approvals.
  • Compliance: Ensure adherence to all applicable publication processes and guidelines, utilizing systems such as iEnvision, PromoMats, and NAYA.
  • Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate seamless project execution and maintain clear communication channels.
  • Budgeting and Vendor Management: Support budgeting activities, generate purchase orders, and track vendor performance as needed.
  • Continuous Improvement: Proactively contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by developing tools, refining processes, and enhancing quality frameworks.

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience: 2-4 years of relevant experience in medical communications, medical writing, scientific communication, publications, or pharmaceutical project management.
  • Education: A graduate degree in Life Sciences or Pharmacy is required; a postgraduate degree is preferred.
  • Skills: Demonstrated proficiency in project management, strong communication skills (both written and verbal), excellent stakeholder management abilities, and meticulous documentation skills.
  • Technical Skills: Experience with publication management tools such as iEnvision and PromoMats is essential.
  • Language: Fluency in spoken and written English is a must.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

  • Experience working in scientific writing, publications, compliance, or medical communication agencies is highly desirable.
  • The ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment is essential.
  • Familiarity with pharmaceutical publication workflows and industry guidelines is a significant advantage.
