Responsibilities:
As a Senior Research Associate or Research Associate in our Analytical Development Lab, you will play a crucial role in the development and validation of analytical methods for our OSD products. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Analytical Method Development: Develop robust and reliable analytical methods for new drug products (OSD) using a variety of techniques, including High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC), Gas Chromatography (GC), and wet chemistry methods.
- Method Validation: Execute complete method validation procedures in accordance with ICH/USP guidelines, ensuring the accuracy, precision, and reliability of analytical methods.
- Documentation and Reporting: Prepare and review comprehensive AMV (Analytical Method Validation) protocols, reports, and supporting documentation, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Routine Analysis and Stability Studies: Conduct routine analysis of pharmaceutical products, perform stability sample testing to determine product shelf life, and execute forced degradation studies to assess drug product stability.
- Instrument Operation and Troubleshooting: Operate and maintain advanced analytical instruments, including HPLC (Agilent/Shimadzu), GC, UV, IR, Dissolution apparatus, and other relevant equipment. Proactively troubleshoot instrument issues to minimize downtime and ensure data integrity.
- Compliance: Adhere strictly to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), and data integrity standards in all aspects of work.
Qualifications and Experience:
We are looking for candidates who possess the following qualifications and experience:
- Education: M.Pharm (Pharmaceutical Analysis/Pharmaceutics) or M.Sc (Chemistry/Analytical Chemistry).
- Experience: 1 to 4 years of relevant experience in ADL/QC of regulated pharmaceutical companies.
- Technical Skills: Mandatory experience in method development and method validation for OSD dosage forms. Proficiency in HPLC, GC, UV, IR, and Dissolution testing.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Strong understanding of regulatory guidelines, including ICH Q2, USP <1225>, and other relevant guidelines.
- Soft Skills: Excellent documentation and report-writing skills, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
