Job Summary
Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) is currently seeking detail-oriented and experienced professionals to join our team as a Follow Up Specialist in our Pharmacovigilance division. Located at our Thane Belapur Road facility in Mumbai, this full-time role is designed for candidates with 2–4 years of experience in drug safety and adverse event reporting. You will play a critical role in maintaining global safety standards, managing Individual Case Safety Reports (ICSRs), and ensuring regulatory compliance. Responsibilities
As a Follow Up Specialist, you will be responsible for the end-to-end management of safety data and ensuring the highest standards of accuracy in reporting. Your primary duties include:
- Case Processing: Manage end-to-end safety case processing, including Spontaneous, Solicited, and SUSAR cases.
- Data Management: Perform case intake, precise data entry, and thorough case triage activities.
- Follow-Up Actions: Proactively conduct follow-ups to gather missing or incomplete safety data to ensure comprehensive report filing.
- ICSR Handling: Accurately process and manage Individual Case Safety Reports (ICSRs) in line with global safety guidelines.
- Compliance & Quality: Ensure all adverse event reporting strictly adheres to global Pharmacovigilance (PV) regulations, maintaining high data quality and meeting critical timelines.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional internal PV teams and external stakeholders to streamline safety workflows.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following criteria:
- Education: A degree in B.Pharm, M.Pharm, or a relevant field in Life Sciences.
- Experience: 2–4 years of dedicated professional experience in the Pharmacovigilance sector.
- Technical Proficiency: A strong understanding of ICH-GCP guidelines and global safety reporting standards.
- Core Competencies: Proven expertise in Drug Safety operations, case intake, triage, and ICSR processing.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills, a high level of attention to detail, and strong documentation abilities.
- Flexibility: Ability and willingness to work in night shifts as required by project needs.
