This is an excellent opportunity for recent MSc Genetics graduates or individuals with experience in molecular biology and advanced sequencing technologies to gain hands-on experience in a cutting-edge diagnostic environment. As a Technical Assistant, you will contribute to the smooth functioning of our infectious disease testing workflows, working with leading-edge technologies like NGS, WGS, Nanopore, and Illumina sequencing platforms.
Job Overview:
- Position: Technical Assistant
- Locations: Navi Mumbai, Hyderabad (Local candidates preferred)
- Experience: 1 year (Fresh graduates with strong academic backgrounds are also encouraged to apply)
- Shift: Rotational (Day & Night)
- Working Days: 6 days/week, rotational week off
- Job Type: Full-time
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with diagnostic lab partners to ensure the efficient and accurate execution of infectious disease testing.
- Coordinate with partners to implement timely test upgrades and improvements.
- Liaise with internal technical teams for troubleshooting technical issues and providing comprehensive support.
- Maintain meticulous and accurate documentation of all processes and results.
- Support and contribute to DNA and RNA extraction workflows, ensuring quality and efficiency.
- Assist in the preparation of samples for sequencing.
- Contribute to maintaining a clean and organized laboratory environment.
Required Qualifications:
- Mandatory: MSc in Genetics
- Proven experience in Molecular Biology techniques, including DNA Extraction and RNA Extraction.
- Familiarity with laboratory equipment and procedures.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data accurately.
- Excellent documentation skills, with attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively and manage time efficiently.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Flexibility to work in rotational shifts (day and night) as required.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to adhering to safety protocols and maintaining a safe working environment.
