Roles and Responsibilities
Analytical Operations
- Develop, refine, and validate bioanalytical methods utilizing various extraction techniques, including Solid Phase Extraction (SPE) and Liquid-Liquid Extraction (LLE).
- Execute quantitative analysis using advanced instrumentation, specifically LCMS and HPLC systems.
- Conduct comprehensive sample analysis for Bioavailability (BA) and Bioequivalence (BE) studies to support product development.
- Operate, maintain, and calibrate laboratory equipment strictly in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Ensure all laboratory activities strictly comply with Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) and Good Documentation Practice (GDP) standards.
Quality Control and Compliance
- Perform rigorous quality checks for method validation protocols and ongoing BA/BE studies.
- Monitor and conduct compliance audits for both project-specific and general laboratory activities.
- Proactively address Quality Assurance (QA) and regulatory observations by developing and implementing effective Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
- Review and verify all calibration records for accuracy and completeness.
- Evaluate internal laboratory processes regularly to ensure sustained adherence to global GLP standards.
Laboratory Custodianship
- Manage the inventory of biological samples, analytical standards, and chemical reagents.
- Maintain precise documentation and monitoring of temperature records for cold storage equipment (freezers and refrigerators).
- Coordinate routine internal instrument calibrations and verify the accuracy of external calibration certificates.
- Resolve operational challenges related to inventory management and supply chain logistics within the lab.
Requirements
- Education: M.Pharm or M.Sc in a relevant Life Sciences discipline.
- Experience: Demonstrated understanding of bioanalytical techniques and laboratory practices.
- Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with LCMS and HPLC systems is highly preferred.
- Competencies: Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and a thorough understanding of regulatory requirements in a pharmaceutical R&D setting.
